In this Perspectives: Asia lecture, writer and comedian Jennifer Wong takes us behind the scenes of Chopsticks or Fork? to explore Chinese restaurant life, and the impact of these restaurants on Australia’s cultural and culinary history - from the early days of sizzling Mongolian lamb and lemon chicken to the whole steamed fish and potstickers of more recent times.

Hosted by comedian Jennifer Wong, the first FEAST event at the Art Gallery of New South Wales brings together artists Rainbow Chan, Gillian Kayrooz and Marikit Santiago, who will share personal stories about food and explore how it has influenced their work in And Still I Rise. Along with exhibition curator Natalie Seiz, the panel will discuss the fascinating relationship between food, art and culture. The event concludes with a sharing of Filipino sweets.

In De’Ath Takes a Holiday, he takes a few spins around the globe, stopping to perform a few reincarnation miracles before finally falling in love – a real temptation to return to the life of the mortal.
